Spring is Here!!

I am so excited spring is here. Ed recently went to Colorado with friends on a skiing trip and I have been busy with two weddings I will be in soon. My friends Brooke and Amanda are getting married. Both of them had their wedding showers the past couple weekends in Illinois in the town I used to live in. Poor Brooke had tornado warnings right before her shower, but the weather ended up being fine. Amanda's weather was beautiful, we were able to take some pictures outside. I have really been enjoying walking, running and biking on the Katy Trail near our house. On Friday I plan to take a really long bike ride and I am super excited about it.
So, with all the showers and weddings coming up I have been a frequent shopper at Bed Bath and Beyond. Ed always says we need one of those spoon holders to put on the stove. While I was shopping a BBB I saw a glass spoon holder on sale for $3.99. So I bought it. Let me tell you that it was probably the worst money I have spent in a while. This spoon holder really hasn't helped me out that much in my life. Now I cook dinner, sit the spoon in the holder, and splatter food all over the stove. I really just created an extra step in the clean-up process. Now I have to clean the spoon itself, the spoon holder, and the stove. I think I may gift that to a friend for the wedding (sorry girls, maybe you'll have better luck with this). Those holders, they are so deceiving they act like they are going to help you and really they make your life more complicated. Ed says that he really likes it. I hope he does, because he has to wash it every day now.
Ed and I decided last Saturday that we should go on a date. We went to Outback and I noticed something while I was there. There was a waitress there that had pins just completely covering her uniform. I thought about it for a while and having all of those pins on your shirt can say one or two things to the world. Number 1: "I am the world's best waitress and I take each and every pin off of my uniform each night when I get home from work to wash my shirt." or it can say the latter, Number 2: "I absolutely never wash this shirt because every 2-3 inches is covered with some random pin."
I burnt myself Friday with a curling iron, that's what I get for trying to dress up. It is just too much work. I burnt my wrist damn near down to the vein. I must have delayed reaction time because I really burnt myself well. I now have a nice red blistered area on my wrist. Yesterday I was in a hurry getting ready so I quickly sprayed some perfume onto my wrist and rubbed them vigorously together breaking open the blister. I said cuss words. Yesterday Chanel made me cry.
