I've been slacking on the updates!

Well, you have my sincerest apologies. It has been way to long. So I will attempt to sum up some of the things we have been doing! In August, we celebrated our first anniversary. We decided to go camping/floating on the Meramec River for a weekend. We went down on a Friday and then floated on a Saturday. When we got on the river it was cold and raining, so to stay dry we pulled up under a big tree on the bank. We avoided getting completely soaked and paddled our canoe back out into the river. I was really excited,...too excited you might say...I had my beer in hand and was ready for a nice day. So twenty or so feet out from under the tree,...I leaned too hard one way and tipped myself out of the canoe and got my foot stuck under the seat so I was half in, half out. Way to start off on a good foot,...I was soaked, clothes and all. So much for staying dry under a tree. Overall it was a really fun trip and a learning experience about canoes for me. ( I fell out at least two more times)

On the way camping my little car piled to the ceiling
(may she rest in peace,...I will explain that later)

My hubby on the bank behind our campsite

Over the summer Ed was a "stand in" for the camera crew to set up cameras before the All Star Game.

Shaun and Noelle our friends who live in El Paso now are in town until the end of October. They took us to a Cardinal game with them. It was so fun.

Millie and Lee are Eds Grandparents. We celebrated Millies birthday at the Blue Owl in Kimmswick

Feeling too full

My friend Amanda had some friends over to her and Jay's new house in Nashville, IL

Us outside at Amandas

My Cousin Brad and his girlfriend Natalie are having a baby in October, and Ed and I went to their couples shower. They had so many fun games, and even a keg of Blue Moon our favorite beer. Ed showed off his beer chugging talents with other party goers through a baby bottle.

Natalie and Brad racing each other changing diapers and baby clothes off dolls

Ed surprised me on our 1st anniversary and had some family and friends over while we renewed our vows with the youth pastor Ed helps out with. It was a really special day and was so cool to say those words again now that we have found our church home.

Our friends from church Chuck and Cris. Cris took pictures for us that day.

This picture of Eds dad makes me laugh,...I have no idea what we was saying but he has four ice cream cups in his hand. Maybe someone was trying to steal them. Cris?

Kaylen, Angie and Brandon McCain. (Brandon did the vows). Love the face Brandon is making:)

Champagne time

A good pic of us....but why is ed holding quaker oats? I don't know and neither does he, he cant remember. Love it.

Lynsey, Leslie and Leslies BF Tim. Chillin' like villains

So my white car bit the dust,...it got really hot while I was driving and never started again, so we had to buy a new car....So the Escape is the newest member of the family.
