First Week of May

Amanda's Wedding
This past weekend was my friends' Jay and Amanda's Wedding. The ceremony was in Red Bud, IL and the reception was in St. Libory, IL. We had such a good time. She looked beautiful as always, but especially gorgeous on her big day. The wedding party took a bus from the ceremony to the reception. The roadie there was super fun. People started showing up at her reception at about 4:45ish and it wasn't over until a little after 12:00. They know how to do receptions on the other side of the river for sure! So the reception had some traditions incorporated because her husband's family are all polish. As soon as you walk in everyone takes a shot,...that was new to me, they also had some polka like dancing and even some of the young couples knew how to do it. Ed and I tried until we were crashing into people who were really serious about there polka dancing. We moved off the floor and decided it would be better if we just watched this one. Sunday we had both of our families over for Mother's Day. We did a BBQ and hung out. It turned out nice. Alrighty.....Picture time.....

Kolten was so funny. Very seriously, he said to me, "You know, you are the shortest person on the bus." I replied, "No Kolten, your the shortest on the bus." Kolten then asked, "What happened to you, did you just stop growin? You didn't grow anymore?"
