For this child I prayed and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him ....1 Samuel 1:27

I am happy to announce that I am expecting!! Yes, this December we will be welcoming our sweet little miracle home.

We are so excited and thankful for this blessing and are really enjoying each and every moment of this journey we are on.

Since I am a slacker blogging, here is an update of how things have been going:

Weeks 6-15:

Excitement, joy, disbelief, thankfulness...and.... morning sickness

I slept with a puke bucket next to the bed in case I couldn't make it to the bathroom.

I got up for work an extra 15 minutes early so I had time to take a shower, throw up and get all sweaty and jump back in the shower if I needed to.

I kept a grocery bag in my purse in case I had to throw up somewhere without a trashcan.

I saw a re-run of Game 6 of the World Series from last year and I cried. Definitely more emotional now.

Weeks 16 - 21:

Feeling pretty good now!

I only feel sick if I get too hungry.  Since I've been pregnant if I am hungry while I am grocery shopping I go ahead and just start eating my groceries while I am walking around. I never used to do that, but now I do.

I also feel like my mind is gone. Here's why:

Every time I make a quick trip to the grocery store on my way home from work, I always think we are out of eggs. So, presently I have 28 eggs in the refrigerator.

Our DVD player is broken and we have to use a butter knife to get the tray to slide out to put the disk on. So, Ed and I rented a movie and he asked me bring him a butter knife from the kitchen to put the movie in. When I got into the living room I gave him a stick of butter and a knife.

I usually carry my dress shoes to work and wear my comfy shoes on the metrolink and to walk to my building. Bringing shoes doesn't work so well when you bring two completely different shoes to work. Luckily, no meetings that day.

Brain or no brain,..very excited for December!

In other exciting news we just celebrated our four year anniversary.  A glimpse into that day....

Our friends Brooke and Alex had their baby! Miles Lucas Bunte!! Cute as a button!

Ed and I took a trip to Milwaukee in June.  We went to the Harley Museum. It was really fun and very interesting. Here is the first Harley....

We took a riverboat brewery tour on the Milwaukee River. Ed got to have all my beer tickets.

We had a motorcycle ride in honor of my cousin Brad that went down to Lisa's in Prairie Du Rocher and back to STL

That's all for now....
