Lynn, Les and I before the wedding. Ed couldn't make it to the wedding though because he didn't get home from Colorado until the next day.

The ceremony and reception was on the rooftop of a really cool venue called the Jefferson Underground. They had sparklers for everyone to light during the speeches. Harsh had the last sparkler standing. I accidentally poked a man in the chest with my 4,000 degree sparkler. He didn't light on fire though, thank goodness.

Ed's grandparents took us with them to Colorado this month. On our way from the airport we stopped in Golden, Colorado and ate, and then went to the Coors Brewery for a tour. From there we went to our final destination Dillon, CO.
Ed's grandparent's while we were in Golden
Ed and I in the Brewery. Can I just mention that this is the 4th brewery tour we have been on while I have been pregnant. I am now fully convinced that this is part of Ed's master plan to take full advantage of the free beer tickets you get as part of admission to these tours. I'm on to you Ed.

We took the Loveland Pass into Dillon
The view from the deck of the condo we stayed in.
Ed and I attempted to go on a seven mile hike. This is kind of a weird picture of us, we put the camera on the timer in a tree to try and get a picture of us both.
So, with the altitude and with Baby Akers on the way I wimped out on doing the whole hike.
We probably only hiked three miles total, I just couldn't do the whole 7.

Quite the climb
We rented a Kayak for a couple hours to take out on Lake Dillon. We saw a muskrat momma and her babies on the bank before we got started.
Us in a Gondola in Breckenridge, on our way up to the top for Ed to do the Alpine Mountain Slide. He did the same one about 15 years ago on a family vacation.
Where do you put the emphasis in the word Gondola?
1) GON-duh-la
or
or
2) gon-DOUGH-LA
I pick number one.
