HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Our neighbors across the street invited us to go to their son's boxing match in Forest Park. It was so fun. He was the main event so we were able to sit ring side and see all the action up close. The last time there was boxing in Forest Park was the World's Fair so it was neat to see a big outdoor fight in St. Louis.
This is a picture of Ryan Coyne our neighbor's son. He won by a 2nd round knock out.
Devon Alexander, the current WBC and IBF light welterweight champion, was sitting right next to me!! Ed was brave enough to ask if I could get my picture with him. He was super nice.
While we were at the fight I had to use the bathroom so I decided to go to the porta-potties vs. the long line at the regular bathroom. It was a major fiasco. I don't like those porta-potties as it is so this situation has only heightened my dislike. First, I walked up and some guy didn't lock the door so the little sign on the back said "open" so I walked in on him taking a whiz. It got worse because it was really dark in that bathroom. So I couldn't see anything. I reached in the compartment to my right into the little housing for the toilet paper only in wasn't the toilet paper housing,....it was the urinal. I wanted to cry. Luckily there were sinks, but still.

A few weeks ago we went camping in Klondike Park in Defiance. We were going to ride our bikes there, but the flu shot made me sick the day before so it was pushing it to go camping in the first place. I was bummed that we didn't ride our bike there, because Ed and I had been putting some miles on our bikes getting ready for the trip. It was GORGEOUS weather. We met our friends there. Klondike Park used to be a sand quarry I think so there is a really pretty lake by the campsites.

We went to the Augusta Brewhouse for dinner while we were camping. Here is a lovely pic of the France's
My friend Litney from Red Bud Highschool got married on the 23rd so we went to her reception in Hecker, IL. She looked gorgeous, and had an amazing dress. Her decorations at her reception were adorable. The tables had mason jars with cute flowers in them and then other smaller mason jars with tea-lights in them it was really really cute. I saw so many people I hadn't seen in forever.
Brooke and I at the reception.
