Holiday Post

Happy Holidays

Sorry it has been so long,..I know I am a slacker these days. Someone call the Guinness Book
of World Records because this will surely be my longest post ever!!

For New Years we went to our friend's house in South County...we had so much fun!

Ed and Justin Ederer (Later they went on to battle for the name Ed, Justin's nickname, via a rock, paper, scissors game) My Ed lost so he is now known as "Hairy Toes" (that is another story)

Happy New Year Brookie!!

We missed Amanda on NYE,...her baby should be coming any day now!!

Ashley Sham-wowed by butt because I sat in water outside :/ I am now a believer in the sham-wow. It really does work!

Christmas morning at Ed's grandparents.

Ed's grandpa with his new hat.

My Grandma Glenda and I

Ed's Grandma's pretty table setting

Before Christmas we went to a live Nativity Scene at the church I went to growing up in Imperial
Mom, Lynsey, Ed, Dad, Maw-Maw, Aunt Linda and Leslie.

They had camels, donkeys and goats.

So peaceful,...real Christmas. It was so neat to be back at my old church. We actually saw a few of the same families. My old deacon, "Deacon Dale" and his family was there so it was really neat to catch up.

Christmas Cookie Day!

Thanksgiving was great. We actually drove to New Orleans for a couple days. Ed's friend Phil lives there so we stayed with him.

On the way down we ate at the Mellow Mushroom in Jackson, MS with Ed's Uncle Mark and Aunt Renee

Us

Phil had a fish-fry planned for one night, so the night before he put together some of the stuff for the Gumbo.

Ed and I at Pat O'Brien's

We went for a tour of Abita Brewery in while we were there. Everyone pours their own beer before the tour starts.

Uh Oh,....Ed broke out the chicken in a bar while we were on our trip. I found a random ballon in the bar, so I tour a hole in it so ed could have a costume.

Bourbon Street

On Thanksgiving we took the Street Car from Phil's to meet his parent's Mr. Steve and Miss Jane at Mr. B's Bistro in the quarter. We had an amazing lunch and then went to the Boonedock Saint for a beer and to watch the Saint's play.

Quote of the day, "Happy Saintsgiving" - random guy coming into the bar

Ed and I in front of the St. Louis Cathedral

Early November I went to see my sis Leslie at Missouri State. She took me out on the town with her boyfriend Tim.

We had our last night out before Amanda's baby get's here. We went to eat and then we went out on Main Street in St. Charles.

Quote of the night, "I love St. Charles,...it has the cuteness of a small town with the fun of a big city" - Brooke Bunte

We completely gutted the bathroom upstairs, and it is finally finished. Here is a before pic.
